Richland First Steps to Close Temporarily to Slow Spread of Coronavirus

Following Governor Henry McMaster’s announcement that all K-12 public schools will be closed beginning Monday until March 31, Richland First Steps will be limiting services until further notice:

  • All Early Head classrooms will be closed
  • All Early Head Start home-based visits will be suspended
  • All home visits in the Lower Richland area will be suspended
  • All technical assistance visits to child care centers and trainings will be suspended

Our office will be open on a limited basis, but will not be accepting visitors. Please see our staff directory for direct contact information.

This is a rapidly changing situation and we will keep families and child care providers up to date on our efforts to help slow the spread of this illness.
