CEO Joins Hunt Institute Discussion with Top Education Leaders

Richland First Steps CEO Marcia Bacon will join legislative, K-12 and higher education leaders today for a discussion sponsored by The Hunt Institute.

Today’s event in the 2020 South Carolina Regional Webinar Series, A Conversation with Legislators and Education Leaders in South Carolina, will be moderated by Patrick Sims, Director of Policy and Research for the Hunt Institute. From the session announcement:

“As South Carolina recovers from the effect of COVID-19, education leaders and policymakers must convene to discuss the challenges facing local South Carolina communities.  Senator Darrell Jackson, Senate Education Committee member, hopes to meet with educators, administrators, and policymakers … to discuss how COVID-19 has impacted Midlands-Richland county area.  Panel participants include education leaders who represent early childhood, secondary education, and higher education. “
